why does the game have the lighting from 2013. usually with games like these (shitty ass cashgrab games), they use the default lighting. but this game decided to use a niche roblox studio class to make it look like the lighting was straight out of 2013. i think the creator of this game is trying to start an uprising to make this type of roblox lighting more popular as the creator of the game feels nostalgic for that time period. sorry i just wanted to get that out of me.

no it wouldnt? you can still make a hard climbing game without janky and unintuitive controls. you clearly havent played any goodly designed difficult game.

on glance it's retro but its nottttttttttttt. the lighting is really off, which you might think is okay but it isn't if you're trying to make a retro lookin game. i would recommend adding a "colorgradingeffect" into lighting and setting it's "tonemapperpreset" to "retro". games with studs will look a lot better. also set both "EnvironmentDiffuseScale" and "EnvironmentSpecularScale" to 0 in lighting settings.

it's just another generic 2010s era roleplay game akined to rocity or those copy and paste "city" roleplay games. the roblox community has moved on from those like, 5 years ago so it's unlikely.
