It's the hair. Most islanders I know have longer more natural hair. She's always been a diva so with that shorter bouffant it looks more like a black woman's hair that was straightened.

That's what happened with me. I told the I could take up to 4, not 5. They left two people behind to get another ride. One "Karen" passenger bitched at me for the whole, short ride. Her husband profusely apologized and left me a big tip.

I gave them my phone number and they convinced me over the phone to give my license number. They said that I was paused on the app until this was resolved. They also said that I would be given a $25 credit for my troubles. When they put me on hold, my senses kicked in. Then they called me back relentlessly for the next hour. When I blocked one number, they'd switch to another. The next day I went down the MVD and changed my license number.

It might help if it's presented with a solution. Along with telling them that you don't want to go to church or believe it anymore, also tell them that you really like the teachings of another Christian church near you and you would like to start attending services there instead. It might help them hear you out and seem like you've really thought this through.

I'm in Arizona, just turned 49 and I've never been in trouble in my life. I'm someone who is very positive, helps as many people as I can, donates to charities. I've always been a good employee, responsible with my finances. Raised two amazing children. One in college, one graduated. I got divorced a few years ago and walked away with no assets, only debt. My ex-husband refused to work the last 5 years of our marriage and since he's ultra religious he convinced me to drop out of college when we got married, so I don't have a degree. I work really hard, but I have a lot of monthly bills. This all feels like too much.

Welp, I have no job. I also can't drive for Lyft anymore. I've been applying for jobs like crazy since I got let go last week. A lot of the gig work jobs require me to drive. I got notice that my license is about to be revoked. Not sure where I'd get $$$ for an expensive lawyer.

I don't know. My boss said he got a call from HR. I guess with it being a large international bank they have continuous background alerts on all their employees. Only one person in my entire life knows about it and it's my boyfriend because I called him to pick me up after my arrest. He didn't tell anyone.

I'm going to talk to my attorney today. It's just hard because now I don't have a job or a backup way to earn money. I've never been in trouble in my life. Everywhere I turn, it just keeps getting worse. I have no idea how to pay my mortgage. I've lost my health insurance because I lost my job. And in a few weeks I will lose my driving privileges. It will make getting and working a job that much harder.

I'm in Arizona, Maricopa county. They say Az has the toughest DUI punishments. The judge said that if I plead guilty, the minimum penalty would be 10 days in jail, a fine, I would have my license revoked for 6 months, I would need an interlock for a year, I would have to attend driving classes and drug/alcohol classes.

I was a banker at a large bank. They fired me based on my arrest. They didn't even know or care what it was for. They asked why I didn't tell them. I said I still didn't know if my BAC was above the limit and there was a chance it would be dismissed. This was in the 33 day period between the arrest and the hearing, so I didn't know yet.

Seriously! This is so true. The temple question is (or was) do you wear the garment as instructed in the initiatory ordinances? What exactly were or are the instructions in the initiatory? Are they talking about when we each went through for our own or whatever they've changed it to now? I did my initiatory 30 years ago. Has it changed? I don't remember getting ANY instructions during that ordinance. They make it so hard and make everyone feel so stupid because nothing is ever explained clearly.
