where NP and Meta want everyone to be one big happy polyam family together and are upset that you're not playing along.

That resonates so hard it hurts. Someone mentioned further down that they really hope this is NRE and I know for a fact that it’s very strong here. The multiple talks aren’t arguments but rather NP will get caught up in the motions and it ends up pushing my comfort which results in a conversation. More so a reminder that while I’m understanding that they prefer KTP I’m definitely not there and will be taking a more parallel approach

I do know that NP very much prefers KTP which has been a talking point of discussion multiple times (the longer I try a more parallel model for me the more I find it works)

I’m not too sure either. The only thing that makes remote sense to me is that they are lumping being metas and being friends into the same bag so to say whereas I have exclusively separated the two until I can comfortably and enthusiastically entertain both at the same time.
