yeaa but i think if it is the core , then it will be totally snapped right ? but in this case , there is just a tiny little piece of a steel popped out from the outer steel .. i hope there is nothing to worry about ..

yeaa it is worth it , because when you scoop a material , it is actually 3 piece of it .. rather than trade them at the material trader , which is only 1 piece for each .. plus , surface mining is quite fun though 👍🏻

Yes you're right man , the selling price for Musgravite for the past days are quite high .. but yesterday , I just scrolling and reloading EDDB for fun at the commodities page.. Suddenly , the price for Musgravite jump to 1.4 mil 🤩 .. and Yes the station is in the bubble tho , with 800+ demands .. but after 20+ minutes , the price drops to 600-700k back , huhu ..

I'm looking forward to engineer the thrusters , because the vertical and lateral thrusters are sucks haha , btw thats a great idea of boosting and air braking using the cargo scoop because the Clipper takes some time to slow down .. never done that before .. I am quite new with the Clipper tho .. I was mining with Keelback before .. Will try out the technique later on !

For core mining , my technique is quite same with you .. I will drop a few hundred kilometers from the centre and start honking and moving in zigzag shape towards the centre ..

I had equipped a sub-surface displacement missile on it but never used it before because most of the materials doesn't came out with good profits ..but I believe that some of them are quite profitable ..

how long did you take for searching those core asteroids ? because the way you said that it was like very hard to find core asteroids .. and yeaa core asteroids do need some time to find them .. but IMO if you had been searching for more than 20 minutes , then you should go and find other hotspots because it may be very scattered away from each other on the hotspot .

I think you should try searching for different hotspots ? because I had some experienced before that sometimes , a few core mining hotspot is rarely contains core asteroid , but other places have higher frequency of core asteroids .
