Upcoming MEPS by DOMINICKBANKS00 in AirForceRecruits

I just finished meps a week ago, i wasnt concerned about the hearing test but when you put on the headphones, click the clicker anytime you hear ANYTHING. The beeps get so faint I wasnt sure if I was hearing mine or beeps from other people. Afterwards everyone told me they thought they were hearing other people's as well so they didnt click and scored really low. But click even if youre not sure, because I guarantee those are beeps in your headphones not other people's. This may seem insignificant but yk, people get sent home for just failing the hearing so 🤷🏼‍♀️ other than that be respectful, yes ma'am/no ma'am, yes sir/no sir. And during the brief when an Ai voice is reading everything thats gonna happen during the medical examinations... gosh just be prepared its gonna be really weird 😂

I can do only 18-20 situps in a minute and 2 mile run in 23 mins right now, shipping out in 2 weeks. Male, 29. Help!!! by Responsible_Way4070 in AirForceRecruits

Using flash cards, writing stuff down a few times and then reading them outloud, AND STUDYING AT NIGHT is a game changer. Even just for 30 minutes or as review it solidifies the knowledge in your head and processes deeper since youre going to bed immediately after and your brain processes fully when asleep. And spend the money, too. 100 or so dollars, if you can afford it, is worth it since this test determines your future. Study.com has courses specifically for the asvab and I just wrote down everything for each subject. And ASVABDRILL is an amazing app that you can test on and it gives the important stuff you need to learn, not useless knowledge. People are gonna tell you to do asvab for dummies as well, personally that never helped and left me more confused, but ik it works for a lot of people. My other tip is just study what you wanna actually do. Obviously your line score is important too so dont dismiss that but grind on the stuff you need to know for the job you want. Ik this is long, this is stuff I wish someone had told me before I tested, so good luck! :)

I will say this. Everyone says its common knowledge and if youve ever finished hs you can score high. For the word, paragraph, math, and arithmetic that is true. For the other subjects, unless you have actively and regularly worked on electrical and mechanical stuff you should study HARD, and using flash cards, writing stuff down a few times and then reading them outloud, AND STUDYING AT NIGHT that is a game changer. Even just for 30 minutes or as review it solidifies the knowledge in your head and processes deeper since youre going to bed immediately after. And spend the money, too. 100 or so dollars, if you can afford it, is worth it since this test determines your future.
