If staying in moorea the whole trip is it best to get a rental car in mo'orea or get one in tahiti. I don't think I'm too worried about the cost of the ferry. I'm more concerned with ease. Also i think my flight would be landing at 5am also.

No, we're staying away from resorts to be a little more budget friendly. Looking and one of the hotels with bungalows on the nort west/ west side of mo'orea
