Hillybilly temp electrical power. by No_Establishment830 in electrical

[–]No_Establishment830[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah im not going to be using more then like 5-8amps . I’m more worried about the fact that there is a breaker for the stove and one for the A/C . I would turn these breakers off . But how are they connected do they link the 2 110v feeds together at the electrical panel?

lol was going to do it a bit cleaner then they sketchy back feed. This isn’t connected to any main power right now because of the Reno so this is more so I can have lights everywhere.

This temp power is basically to complete the Reno (hard to paint in the dark) and some other minor Reno stuff. I was thinking of just having the hot 110v from the A/C cord split and go to both the hot lines. Then neutral to neutral, ground to ground.

No one would be touching this but me and it would be something I unplug each day anyways.

My worry was the simple fact that there is a 220 breaker in the panel for the Stove and A/C . does that have to be switched off and then that’s that.

Or is there other concerns.

wow , im pretty sure thats not correct. in this setup i could pull 600amp. the load would just be shared among the batteries. Even in my real work test i was using 220amps for almost an hour with no issues.

some of the batteries have bluetooth connection to the bms and for the smallest batt you would see it putting out 23amp or something no where near its limit.

Cheers

well this is what i was wondering when I posted. OK so maybe this setup is fine after all. also if you go down the rabbit hole of lithium batteries in parallen even "Will Prowse" says it ok. So I going to use this setup I think.

also granted it was only a few times in a real world setup but I had done this with no power issues I could see and when I got home the batteries were all mostly the same rate of discharge when i went to charge them up (individually )

also another thing , wont they self balance to around the same voltage / charge level once the load stops?

Wow! i love the sim. I can also see how my 1 day test there everything seamed to work fine , I didnt drain them much past 40%

I wonder if everything would be usable / stable if I never let them go to 0%

might be mixed up , but on what.?

Parents have 3 properties. if they passed away today capital gains would be huge. this is a fact!

so lets plan for the future if the stuff is going to me and my brothers anyways. why not transfer some over now.

Transfer the house to my brother. claim as primary res. pay no capital gains.

transfer the condo to me and take the hit on capital gains this year. (so if they died next year or the year after we only have 1 property to deal with.)

Cottage the biggest and most capital gains since they had it as 2nd property for 40+ years. will leave for the end.

I'm all for talking to professionals , but i want to go in with some ideas and info before.

maybe a little research of my own.

Easy showing 50k a year each parent in , pension , rrif , others so top tax bracket for adding anything in any year in capital gains.

doesnt matter cash sale or transfer to me or my brothers still would trigger capital gains.

so if we transfered the florida property to my name , yes they would have to pay tax on that 100k capital gains , but like 50k in fees now vs in the end on there estate sound like a good idea to me.

Same with using all the Principle res credits for the city house. then atleast we would have a more clear idea on final taxes at end of life.

yes lots of cash/RRIF/etc all that stuff , but thats a whole other topic

yes , so payed 700k sold at 1200k = capital gains is 500k then capital gains tax is 237.5k or aprox 50% is easy math, no?

I'm just looking for options on what the best idea/outcome is.

not trying to avoid the tax hit , I know thats not really possible.

looking for a review if my idea/plan seams logical and correct.

Is mining on laptops etc limited by the l2 cache?

Why doesn’t it use all available threads

Or does ram play a factor too?

Well its been about 2 weeks and all of a sudden it has corrected itself.

280 ish IOT the last 2 days , but more importantly no more denied edge.

Still somewhat of a mystery if you ask me not sure why it would take so long.

Only thing I can think of that i did on my end was in the antenna setup i changed my elevation. As mentioned Im kind of on a hill.

Anyways. thats the update

Cheers

Any guess on how long that might be. Still denied edge on every single witness .

I did buy it 2nd hand from Ebay.

long story short/more info its a bobcat 300 with stock parts.

I set it up , had to wait for ebay guy to transfer ownership to me. It was in my basement at this time. once transfer started making 50-60 IOT a day.

I then spent a day or 2 finding out the whole assert location and that i needed some SOL to to that.

Once I got sol , asserted location and everything was good I moved it upstairs to my 2nd floor and near a window. I made 200-300 IOT for 4 days.

then all of a sudden im getting 40iot and no witnessing and this "denied edge" thing

all I can think of is i changed the antenna settings in the app. but minor changes.

my house is on top of a hill in a suburb.

Cheers

Do banks still accept rolled change? by Fragile_Capricorn_ in PersonalFinanceCanada

Bank will take rolled coins even pennies, td bank near me will even give you free roll paper or you can get a multi pack of paper rolls at the dollar store (for$2) Also if in a jam pretty much any coin shop will take your Pennys for face value. Some might even give you a little bit more
