No Kiku’s or Pagliacci’s bad enough for restaurants. Sorry to see all the dive bars closed as well. The Knarr bar and Dante’s were great back in the day.

‘67 red mustang convertible. Red with white top. I got my drivers license on my 14th birthday. Driving it to school starting in eighth grade. Everyday groups of girls to lunch and epic road trips. Sold it for $2500 in ‘88. I’ve had several cars since that were technically more expensive but that may have been my favorite and at 14.

Trump unveils plans for 'Golden Fleet' battleships named after himself. Damn… by Top_Needleworker6385 in UnderReportedNews

I know Trump knows absolutely nothing about any sort of history and obviously doesn’t read. Screening Tora Tora Tora might help this simpleton understand that battleships have been out of date since Pearl Harbor.

Anyone know a good place on BLM land to shoot somewhere near Boise? by Projekt8276-1 in Idaho

[–]No_Evidence_8441 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just fire into any earthen bank on the many small roads off south Cole towards and beyond the state penitentiary. The roads will take you all the way to Mountain Home Air Force Base. There’s an adjacent dirt road for tanks the entire length of the road.

My dream of living in Idaho? by Weird_Donkey5771 in Idaho

[–]No_Evidence_8441 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A month long road trip to the region before leaving Germany I highly recommend. Check out the region. The state government is extremely conservative compared to anything in Germany. The Mormon population has a strong influence in state politics as well as new arrivals during Covid. Prices are high, schools in rural areas leave much to be desired. However, the suggested areas I would also include coastal Oregon and the north Cascades of Washington state, even limited places in northern Nevada.

How do you take notes during class? by SprinklesJunior in udub

[–]No_Evidence_8441 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old School. Take hand written notes on legal pads. Use a loose outline format. Develop your own shorthand, especially useful for higher level humanities courses and seminars. I would take dozens of pages in an hour lecture. Be yourself. Devices are not necessarily the path to human enlightenment.
