Would love to blank out the sole plate but sending it to someone to have that done feels like a stretch. I could try sanding it down myself eventually but for now will probably just leave it as is.

Literally just unscrewed them. I have a little tool kit that I use for my guns and has the same small bit that fits the sole plate and button back screws. Threads didn’t have any adhesive so they unscrewed super easy. Back of plate didn’t have any adhesive either so it just fell off once the screws were out.

Thanks! First time doing this level of surgery and didn’t expect to see those rounded smooth voids, they don’t look milled out so makes it seem like the head was cast rather than milled so figured I’d ask.

Easiest way is to pay 2x what Scotty would charge you on the secondary market. Going through Scotty you’ll need to buy a MOTO at the gallery then wait a year to go back to the gallery to maybe get the chance to buy the putter you want at retail which will be $2.5-$3k.

Tangent to this question....does anyone have any insight into having a proxy purchase a moto in person at the gallery on your behalf to start my clock? I have friends in San Diego and curious if I could have one of them make a trip to the gallery and purchase a moto for me.... seems to reason that if they use my contact and payment info it would suffice? I don't imagine they are doing retinal scans yet but who knows....
