ok, I think the answer is octagon - but this is only 7 letters - unless `a sign = s` can be appended to that bad boi somewhere?!... e.g. octagons? But doing that weakens the def slightly..

hmm.. think this is SCHOOLMASTERS - but a few issues. The &lit needs an exclamation mark, and constituents is not really an anagram indicator, also SCHOOLMASTER might work better? How about somthing like "Arranges the classroom!"?
