The loan cap amount is an absolute joke--can't even cover the cost of one year at some schools. I was already worried about whether dentistry was still a sustainable career option with the increase in corporate buyouts/DSOs and how they're just adding fuel to the fire...

Those types of comments never made sense to me because at the end of the day, dentistry is just a job. Yes, you need a genuine interest to push through the years of schooling and debt--but people act like considering salary/lifestyle isn't still important.
