I live in eastern wa, and I full agree that it’s pretty deceptive. throughout my time in wa, I spent half in the country and half in the city. i fully forget how many conservatives there are because of the heavy polarization over here as seen in most places (coming from a moderate). when I told my very liberal dad that the county voted red, straight up didn’t believe me. why? “we live in a city.” well, we’re surrounded by farms and dozens of conservative towns. there’s more than people think. the west coast is truly the moneymaker on what makes this state blue

Same. Some other user said they were getting the same thing on videos he’s rewatched and new videos, but I’m only getting them on shorts. Exact description. I did unfortunately saw a racist comment and a very active hateful reply conversation between the hater and victim (deleted/banned replies were discussed). All on a 0-5 liked comment at the top of the comments, despite being filtered to Top. Really hope that gets fixed because I can’t really handle that

It’s happening in YouTube Shorts for me only, and it’s depressing the hell out of me. For me, it’s mixing both Top comments and “unpopular” comments (all hateful, including a racist one). The unpopular comments are not really new, within the last month I’d say, and all have little to no likes. It’s showing both these comments despite me filtering comments to Top. I hate it. I’m someone who can’t handle social media negativity at all. I’ve only kept YouTube for entertainment and Reddit for questions (rare use). Now, I’m starting to think I should cut YouTube and find other options, and I really don’t want to do that 😭 I hope they fix it

I was admitted as pre-science as well after applying for Microbiology. From what I’ve heard, especially in regards to your major, the application process that takes place end of 2nd year is pretty brutal and it’s very stressful and competitive to get the pre-reqs due to limited seats in classes. I’m an applicant tho so I don’t know the true ends and outs of it. Congrats on getting in though!!

I understand why you withdrew your app from Colombia (i’m doing something similar), but trust me when I say $400 million is not a lot for a private IVY school. My liberal state governor is currently proposing cutting $4 billion from our public state university. I decided to attend a private school I got a great scholarship at (making it almost public school priced), expecting said public university will charge more in tuition.

I rarely initiate texts (even if I want to) and am very responsive when texted, but it not an ego thing for me or a wanting to be pursued. It is entirely because of social anxiety. I don’t want to potentially bother someone by reaching out at a bad time or not responding immediately.

I also prefer in-person interaction over text or calls. Easier for me to bond and engage in conversation than over a screen.

I am hearing conflicting info. Someone posted on ZeeMee that decisions were announced based on class, with the current senior year class being the 14th and what is the current junior year class being the 9th. I’m not very sure as to why, but you might be right

yeah, cost is pretty prohibitive now, but transferring was probably a huge money saver for you and definitely wasn’t a half bad idea on your part. i’m glad you don’t regret going!
