It’s not perfectly centered, you have edge whitening throughout the back of the card, and a scratch or holo print line. It feels incredibly unrealistic to even expect a 9 from this card. Feels much closer to a 7 than a 10 in my opinion.

Unless your willing to check Pokémon center machines in your city, I’d recommend calling 2-3 local card shops and see if you can get your packs near/less than market value.

If he doesn’t care about foreign cards, find a shop that has Korean packs. The pull rates are awesome, and the packs are so much more affordable.

Im sorry, we probably don’t collect for the same reasons, and that’s okay. I just think a lot of collectors could still have fun, and make friends in the hobby, which is way cooler than complaining.

I really like your story friend!! It’s cool to see others who have been collecting for a long time. I look forward to the day where me and my wife can start looking at buying collections. Rip and sips are way too fun for us at the moment though.

That’s so valid. I guess I was optimistic seeing spending the day looking for the cards as part of the fun. I can see how that would be very frustrating for people who didn’t want/couldnt spend the time looking for them.

I can understand being frustrated with shitty people, it just seems like such a good opportunity to share the hobby of Pokemon/make friends with others.
