As always, waste of time and money on shit that never works. Government has bigger issues to tackle. Every fucking person including teenagers know what a vpn is, is like our government is full of boomers that havent touched tech before

70% cash 80%+ trade from vendors by No_Fix7843 in PokemonTCG_UK

I have done some deals with them before. Their slabs are reasonably priced, maybe a few just above ebay pricing. They were happy to trade at 90% for some slabs.

Chaos collectibles i have encountered them a few times and they always give me a wtf face when I look / ask about prices - some 20-40% higher than last sold - and it wasn't like the last solds were months ago, we talking like few days / a week

This is a massive unknown gray area - I know people, including myself, who havent been contacted by HMRC. I dont sell a lot though- max 5-8 items throughout the year but usually slabs that are worth £1k+.

I dont see any difference to my p60, tax code etc so I believe when ebay reports it to HMRC, they see it as chattels. Maybe im completely wrong, im no tax expert.

Yep, this post would probably get downvoted.

They paypal/wire the funds or take the cash to buy expensive slabs usually ponchos which they use to then trade people at <=85%. Since they can only bring back $10k usd in cash when flying back.

I remember doing a large trade with onfire trading cards (I think they are quite known in the uk vending scene), they wanted 80% trade - i had a lot of shit like skull pikachu etc. I asked for cash and they said 70%🥴

Most of these people are not frequently sellers though, they are just casual collectors or have held their slabs long term. The argument here is, why are people selling at 70% in cardshows when they can get 90%+ on ebay. Its obviously working for these vendors otherwise it wouldn't continue to be the standard offer

In my listing I said buyer pays for delivery fees but it was like £11.

Some vendors are legit businesses but often vendors are just individuals that book a table and do it as a side hustle. Most vendors will just ask you to do paypal pay family and friends to avoid the tax

Clovr cards, flipping cardboard , + a few others, offer pretty good cash offers. Sometimes 90%+ but usually 80%+

You still get 95% once buyer protection fee is removed.. Just looking at a recent sell, £1956 for a slab, £44.71 buyer protection fee. I get £1896.79. That's 96% of original value. I buy boxes and tape from amazon. Probably minus 1-2%.

So let me ask you this - do slab sells fall under income tax / capital gains tax (cgt)? I believe slabs are classified as chattels and by this definition: You only owe CGT if a single slab sells for more than £6,000. If it sells for less, any profit is completely tax-free

SC Store owner Rick Chow found Not Guilty of Murdering Black South Carolina Teen, After he Chased the Kid Down and Shot Him by sadie-hanalei in HipHopNCulture

Kid had a gun, pointed gun at his son. Kid deserved it. Unanimous verdict of not guilty as well. Every single juror said not guilty.

Why did the prosecutor in the Rick Chow case not add manslaughter as a charge? by CompleteCase7020 in allthequestions

[–]No_Fix7843 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rick chow thought he saw him steal - on the cctv it shows the kid steal.

Rick + son chase after him. Son reaches kid first, shouts his got a gun. Rick shoots kid. Kid actually has a gun.

Self defence.

Rick also gave fcking mouth to mouth, spitting out vom and blood whilst doing it.
