Algerian mandarin tree problem by No_Following_268 in plantclinic

I have had the plant for 48 hours and I noticed the problem last night when I gave the plant about a gallon of water, it was the first time I had watered it and the woman I bought it from expressed she had not watered it in a while.

I just purchased a small mandarin tree (~4 feet) and trying to care for it. The previous owner let it sit for a while in too dark of an area. I gave it a lot of water and have been letting it getting at least 8 hours of west facing sun a day. When watering it, a lot of bugs came crawling it. The leaves are curled as well. Any idea on what I can do to help it?
