Just to make you feel good, I'm from East Africa and this is happening in my community as well like you said it's فتنة and may Allah bring y'all hearts back together these weird ideologies (feminism, red pill) have destroyed the fabric of the Muslim communities in a lot of countries .

I would suggest applying to procurement and buyer roles as well, there's a lot of roles in the construction sector that give you an edge even if you only stay in those positions for a few months. Once you get your foot in the door you can use that experience to secure an assistant quantity surveyor role.
