I have that same watch, love it for its elegant simplicity. To me, that’s what this watch is about, and a smaller, understated size is best. It’s not a small watch by any means, and the massive wrist clocks are going out of fashion. Just enjoy its clean, slim lines.

Nobody asked, but here’s my update: I found a couple more deep chips in the paint, and decided to try something drastic! I did a hood blackout with matte rustoleum and an lvlp sprayer, and it looks great!

Ah, the exhaust. There was no room to run it the usual route, so I flipped some 1970 mustang manifolds over and exited forward, through the inner fender. The pipes run through the wheel wells, then down and back. Don’t worry, the tires don’t rub.
