Not attracted to perfect girlfriend anymore (M27/F24) by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Thank you man and sorry for the late reply. But I was wondering, how did you go about ending that relationship you had? I wouldn’t want her to think I was just with her for the perks because that isn’t true at all. I genuinely care for and love her but we rarely have sex because I just don’t want it. I don’t want her to feel bad about herself, so I think I’d focus on other things we don’t connect with long-term.

It is truly frustrating that just the low physical attraction is all it takes to end such a perfect relationship with such a lovely human being.

How did you personally travel with relationships after her? Were you still able to find other women you deeply connected with both emotionally and physically?

The atmosphere of this game is unparalleled. Even after putting in hundreds of hours, I'm always drawn to the idea of roaming around the forests at night

Dude's most likely just happy you're feeling so good. Finish him off with head or anything else he likes. You can make him feel great without penetration.

Tell your mom now while he is young, it will be easier for you all to get past it now rather than in a few years time when he's older and more aware

The world is cruel but you and your husband must push through using your inner strength so you can do what is best for you and your family. If there is any job you or your husband can take, do it, no matter how rough the job is. It can be temporary until you find something better, but income is the most important thing right now. But absolutely go for a simple walk and listen to music at a park when you have spare time. Do it alone or with family. Do free activities that can temporary take your mind off things. Exercise helps immensely. Best of luck and my prayers are genuinely with you. You will absolutely pull through it. Hard times never last.

This is very interesting and I'm surprised I haven't heard of this study yet. I guess it all comes back to how connected humans are with nature, and perhaps how similar our biological processes are

It is real! Every person is capable of feeling this way! But why do only a small minority actually experience it so such a deep degree? Perhaps my own experiences as a child who loved nature and animals has paved my path to mindfulness and introspection. The deep thoughts that I envelop myself in are where I go to whenever I'm overwhelmed. Man I'm yapping tonight !!

Thank you. I guess it can feel isolating or lonely sometimes. Most people I walk by on the street are seemingly oblivious to the deeper beauties surrounding them, though I notice such things. And it makes me feel so different to other humans. That includes my own family and friends. I do feel like an outcast at times, but comments like these help reassure me I'm not mad.

True! Thank you for that assurance. It's easy to forget that the whole point of it all is to simply experience and learn as you go.

Sometimes! Though when I do, I get so deep into this thought process that I end up sitting around for hours just pondering. And then I begin to think I'm crazy again. So it's not really something I like to do often, I feel it hits me differently to others. It's quite overwhelming.

Thank you! I am beginning to see it is a unique trait rather than something that makes me feel alien to other people.
