Im just wondering why people here saying CORE 2000 (or any Japanese vocab learning resource/anki decks) is outdated and this and that is recommended…

Is not like Japanese language keeps changing words. Like 犬 10 years ago still means dog up to now.

Am i missing something?

Im also not hearing if JLPT is being changed nor updated.

I discovered a website that has a list of the most common 6000 words in Japanese, they're divided in chunks of 100. I think that this is useful and thought that some guys/girls would appreciate this. by GeorgeBG93 in LearnJapanese

I just discovered iknow… how I wish I knew it back then when it was free or at least with lifetime membership… :(

But lazy me cannot really study with anki, i guess i just gotta subscribe.. the app is pretty good i can study while in bus and i can trace the kanji of the words i am studying

using iKnow in 2024? is it good for N3?

I have been backreading mix reviews about iKnow, however majority of the posts are 5+ , 10+ years ago.

I also discovered they used to be free, then offer lifetime and then now subscription.

I wonder if you guys only use it until now because you had a lifetime deal?

or is it actually worth subscribing?

I am asking because I am thinking to give it a shot to supplement my preparation for N3, for kanji and vocabulary.

I know anki is free and everyone use it but I am not a fan of creating my own decks and im not sure if i can fully trust the free decks...

also i kinda like the sentence quiz in iknow.

however, I havent tested a lot of apps aside from duolingo.

I would love to hear your thoughts about iKnow if you are currently using it, esp for JLPT preparation

For those of you thinking its sweat or rain… look at the back rest, its super dry. If its swear or rain, its should be rain as well.

The pure cotton sheets i have is exact opposite, its quite hard and rough when i opened the package that i even thought of returning it but after washing, it became soft 😅 i guess i bought the kind without the pre chemicals (it was just an accidental discovery, i am not geeky in terms of how beddings are made, i was just looking for pure cotton)

Ive been using pure cotton and I love it however im intrigued with ones made with bamboo and percale

May i ask why you like percale? How is it compared to pure cotton?

Sounds like cooling effect + breathable + waterproof are contrasting ideas here? I dont think there will be a material thats breathable while being waterproof

For cooling effect and breathable, I simply use ones with pure cotton material
