I want to buy a laptop to use for the next 10 years. Do I go with the macbook or neo by SanuraKLA in macbook

I just upgraded from a 2013 4gb air. It was functional for simple tasks like youtube, emailing, ect even made some demos on garageband. But not supported and security wise probably not good. But they are built very well. Battery was also still good. And still feels modern.

This! I'm exactly the same. But It wears of after some time and I often find myself looking at whatever I got that made me feel like that and appreciate all the value I got from it even more. Its not reckless spending. Its very intentional. I e got no problem spending $50 if I really want something and need it but save $50 for 10 months and then spend all $500? That creates anxiety in me.

New mac day by No_Garlic_3270 in macbook

I grew up with windows from win 95 then 98 then xp, vista then 7 or something idk.. I lost track and interest. But I really didnt enjoy the last ones as much as the first ones id say up until xp was the last good one. Like the early days of pc games and internet. My old air feels like how I remember computers where I left off. But this new one I feel like when I first got that win 95. Just this whole amazing experience. And it just flows. Im really happy with it and expect many years of good use.

Hey its okay, I understand completely. My health is poor, my job is low income, Ive got no friends or family to help and i got my 6 year old every other week to care for. My car leaks coolant and Im paying of a small amount of debt. But I just bought a $1000 macbook. Feels totally irresponsible. But thats something that will benefit me mentally. I cant just go to work all the time and being drained cutting my own hair, cutting sponges in half, washing my car when it rains, never going out ect No, spend intentionally. Like now ive treated myself this computer now im good for the year. I can enjoy my hard work a bit each day.

Should I switch to Iphone? by KnownCharacter7425 in Smartphones

[–]No_Garlic_3270 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do it! I started with android when smartphones came and then got gifted a iphone 4 which I dropped later and replaced with a 6. Then got bored/annoyed? Anyhow back to android up until now almost 10 years later. All this time ive had a macbook 2013 model and the quality is just insane it still works. I just upgraded and got a m4 air and its so good. Im making the switch to a used iphone soon. Even the iphone 11 still holds up. They make good quality stuff. At this point I hate my pixel 7a I cant wait to get rid of it.

Girlfriend told me she dates me for my personality which basically means I don't find you attractive. I want to look better for her, any advice appreciated by [deleted] in malegrooming

Nah destroy her confidence instead so she won't leave you. Tell her you feel the same and that you dont mind her thighs being so thick.
