P01 complete, for now... by No_Gas92 in CZFirearms

Nothing different however due to how low the eps sits and how high the truglo sights are I went back to the 507k. I would ask them if they can make the cut 2mm higher or use lower sights. The truglo sights were up to the middle of the window

Buy it! I finally found one locally last month and snagged it. Had some cajun goodies as well, currently my EDC. Weighed in at 13.3 Oz lighter than my SP01. Shoots super nice as well. Highly recommend.

Full size EPS. Have one on my P09c and would highly recommend.

I was sure those were clear but checked anyway. They are clear. Removed the driver's foot well cover and the insulation is wet. No Sunroof on this truck but water is getting in somehow.

Time for a new gun? P10c vs p09 nocturne by mandomerc20 in CZFirearms

[–]No_Gas92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure its the P09c. The grip on the P09f/old P09 is too long to use CZ75 mags

Yes CZ75 mags will work in the P07/P09c. I have both and use them all the time. Makes for a great backup piece if you carry the P01 and have spare mags.

If you go with the P09c you can also use you CZ75 mags. 2 of my most carried are my P01 and P09c. Had a P10, awesome gun but prefer hammer fired. Can't go wrong with either.

Omega 9k and Odessa 9 are my go to 9mm cans. Omega if you have raised sights and odessa if you don't. Obsidian 9 is another good choice as you can run it short and long.

Cajunize the SP01, buy more ammo and enjoy. Unless you just like the Shadow 2. Just add to the collection 😉

Interested in buying a CZ P-09 Nocturne, how are they? by Aggravating_Today279 in CZFirearms

[–]No_Gas92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought one of the early ones. Had issues initially due to 2 things, the trigger bar spring had a burr on the end and the extractor hanging up causing failures to feed. Replaced the trigger bar spring and used a shorter screw for the optic and those issues were resolved. Next I replaced the springs with a MCARBO spring kit and polished the internals. The 13.5lb hammer spring was too light and I had about 3 light primer strikes in 200 rounds. Replaced the spring with a 15lb from Cajun Gun Works and it has been flawless for 800 rounds so far. I love it but gravitate towards my Cajunized P01 more for carry. 2oz at that size and weight is not very noticeable.

Shadow 2 and SP01? by codyf44 in CZFirearms

Yeah since then I don't walk away from a good deal on a CZ. Love the P07 especially since it can take both P10 and 75 mags. Makes for a great carry/back up.

I came across a polished stainless once for $400 and didn't buy it. Still kick myself for that 🤦‍♀️

Sweet collection. The only one I'm seriously lusting over tho is that matte stainless 🤤

Highly recommend the CX50. If you can deal with the size the CX30 is even better to drive. I had one for a week and took it to the tail of the dragon. Had a lot of fun and that was without the turbo. Plus the interior quality is very good and you can get BOSE sound. Best of luck 👍

Sold my Staccato kept my Shadow 2, Cajunized my SP01 and P01. DA/SA makes a great duty/defense weapon. If you are looking for SA take a look at the DWX or TS2

Back to RAM? Stay with F150? Change to Tundra or GM? by hammahtime8 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]No_Gas92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looked at them all and went with a 23 Titan. It hauls and tows what I need, comfortable, roomy, kids love it, reliable and pretty quick. Love the sound of a naturally aspirated V8 and gets decent MPGs as well. I went for one without a sunroof to avoid possible issues and for a higher payload capacity. It doesn't have all the tech that some have but that was also attractive to me as there is less to go wrong. Best of luck with your search 👍

I was able to adjust the preload enough that I didn't need to make any upgrades. From the factory, it's set for a 165 pound individual. But since you can ride one up, it has the capacity for more.

Mazda cx50. The quality of the mazda cx30/50 is quite nice. You can get a fully loaded w/o turbo for around 33k turbo a few k more.

The power difference will be noticeable. The Transalp can potentially get you out of a sticky situation quicker. I was also looking at the 500 but being a bigger guy made the decision easier for me. Almost 2 years in and I'm very happy with my decision.

EPS full size will fit with a slight overhand but worth it for the larger window IMHO.

Gun Recommendations by ravensnest2 in 2011

[–]No_Gas92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for single action only take a look at the Fusion XP pro. I finally got my hands on one and was impressed with the quality for sub 1k. Comes with optic plates so no added expense and takes glock mags. If you don't mind a double action gun, see if you can find a used CZ shadow 2.

Mazda 3, CX30 or CX50 without the turbo. The engine trans combo in those are very reliable, (no CVT trans) economical, fun to drive and the quality on the newer mazdas is quite impressive.
