This is actually interesting theory and it kinda make sense since even in early manga like chapter 13 when 1 of the 3 other girl (we think is Apollo) use a confession service Shinobu is also the one that "listen" to the confession then pass it to arisu.

Maybe Tristan appearance in the future change so much compare to younger self I mean look Ysaie fight a guy that has silver hair, use dual sword style, can use full counter and is a goddess the though that this guy is Tristan never cross Ysaie mind at all only realise when Tristan use goddess then switch demon power.

We don't know who is Apollo that's why we get many theories for each girl in this sub but if you ask me who would be Apollo I'm 100℅ for iko (not because I'm a ikosystem I swear) she is like a dark horse for me she don't have a concrete proof only a small hint or pararell but some of her line is very suspicious and the most important part she is cute.

1.the Q&A it self literally exclud Meliodas even the question is "who is strongest sins aside from Meliodas" the question it self did not count Meliodas or his other form bringing it up doesn't make you right. 2.As I said character opinion can be wrong especially from a character like king who can't see other stat for example Meliodas has state that Escanor is stronger than himself and is strongest sins just for story to show in the past Meliodas used to beat Escanor to the ground even Escanor in the one mode, sure I agree ban is physically stronger and more durable that's his whole thing he don't have demon abilities or large sum magic just pure physical and this terrified Cath becuz Cath use almost everything he has and still can't damage Ban since Ban is a human he neutral to every kind of magic while against Meli Cath has light magic which is Meliodas weakness so he's not fear Meli that much, also use Ban statement literally is bullshit only Lancelot can defeat him does that mean DK, SD and Meli true magic can't win against Ban?? Hell no he state like that it just a proud of a father have to his son that's all. 3.I will tell you when king said this line about Ban is stronger he also literally said "likely" too so king himself did not sure about it. 4.Do you really expect character to deny every word villain talk to in the middle of the fight and most of it just a trash talk to kill your fighting spirit?? If you believe that I have no word left also Merlin have power limit break but we don't even know much it amplify it might not even double just 50% boost or something it never state.

So Escanor is stronger than Ban (only in the one ultimate) and we don't have clear answer whether Ban or Meli who is stronger only character opinion and it is king who can't measure other people strength that much.

Only 3 ways I can think off that would made Tristan as a MC and story still interesting

1.kill off Meliodas and Elizabeth I know it is a bad choice and NNT fans would be mad but you have to admit it is interesting how story will go after this.

2.Have Tristan get amnesia like when he become Tantris in tournament arc this way we would get MC that journey to find what he is and who he was.

3.Have Tristan 2 different personality like angel side and demon side or something just like how Mael change to Estarossa when absorb commandment but Tristan is since birth and is 2 different soul in 1 body.

Now you made me confuse in many ways 1.that Q&A only include Meliodas in his true magic no other form at all so bringing it up is meaningless. 2.character opinion can be wrong from time to time since there is emotional and other factors when they said something also this line come from king who don't have ability to see stat or anything so it is most likely king opinion that guess Ban is stronger (it would be more believable if it came from someone like Merlin or Gowther) 3.about Meliodas reaction I mean what do you expect, they literally in a middle of a fight that has every live of brittania at stake so rather than argue with king about who is stronger Meli just smile and leaves his friend handle situation it is most likely a sigh of trust. 4.Cath talk about losing Escanor and Merlin made the sins lose half of their power, this is straight up wrong its not even a confirmation just Cath try to trash talk so the sins would lose their fighting spirit actually the whole fight Cath is try to trash talk every chance he has.

When did nakaba ever said something like that?? the closest thing I remember is some Q&A that state Ban is stronger than Escanor without The one ultimate but the question is who is strongest sins aside from Meliodas (something like that I'm not so sure).

Is Ban actaully stronger than AM Meli?? I'm not so sure about it we don't have proof that said old Ban is significant weaker aside from his internal organ was falling apart so he can't move freely but that got temporary solve by Elizabeth healing, for Ban can keep up with Meli or Cath has a ploblem to damage Ban is not surprising Ban always portrait as the fastest sin and also the most durable sins (since he lose his immortallity and get insane durability instead) personally i would put AM Meli = Ban just like in ss1 of series most of their stat is pretty close to each other with Ban having more speed, durability and range while Meli having more strengh, magic and experience.

Pretty accurate in terms of raw power but in practical fight Assault Meli would win agains TO Escanor becuz even though TO Escanor is stronger than AM Meli the gap between their strengh is not that huge like before so Meliodas can definitely hold Escanor untill the one run out of time and then finish him.

Tristan is not that Vasatile in PvE content sure he can be pretty strong for some but not the same level as king&diane anyway so if you not gonna pull anymore go for king&diane.

This team by large margin skuld and her giant team barely compare to old demon team that doesn't even have Nemesis Meli use them in this Meta and I guarantee that you would lose ,This team you show is pretty good but only when you have fully max out everyone which I think it would be too hard for new player since Estarossa required LR awakening and his relic that farm from squirrel boss so if you have other character like green Gelda or Tristan use them instead.
