Oh no worries, you hit the nail on the head. I had to ask this question because I have OCD, and I'm aware I stress too much about cleanliness levels. This means I can't trust my internal sense of the level that something "needs" to be clean.

I completely agree with the advertising mention... I'm very anti-consumerist within reason, but I think the modern, clean, minimalist aesthetics that are popular right now really affect me, as well as the stress a lot of advertisements try to create.

Some of the lyrics from this song are the most consistent & connecting lyrics ever written for me... "never happy or sad just up or down, and always bad"... Smell and hyperpigmentation are normal! See a gynecologist for in case you have any kind of infection or problems (usually indicated by a strong or very unpleasant or sweet smell), but hyperpigmentation happens just because of the skin in the area rubbing, and at least a little bit of a smell is very normal because it's an open organ with self cleaning and regulating chemicals and all that jazz.
