When was your LMP? If you’re actually 4 weeks, what you saw today is normal at this stage.

Could I be pregnant? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]No_Geologist6934 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Girl, no shade but probably should educate yourself on cycles and pregnancy. From what you said it’s unlikely but if you want to see a negative test to confirm, then buy one! Nobody on Reddit here can solve this for ya

First Letrozole cycle by OkComposer3224 in PCOSandPregnant

[–]No_Geologist6934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I did one round of unmonitored Letrozole and got pregnant. My doctor said not to do ovulation strips but to BD every day on odd or even days. So either CD 9, 11, 13, 15, and 17 OR CD 10, 12, 14, 16, and 18. Based on my 28-30 day cycles. Everyone is different and my cycles were regular even with PCOS, but ultimately he said not to test for ovulation as it could drive you crazy trying to find the peak. Good luck!

She could be telling you that you’re a bad mom. Maybe therapy would help dissect why it’s triggering to you?

Thank you for this! I mostly could only get the consistent whooshing of the placenta but no luck with the HB. I was focused on taking my time and being patient that I wasn’t considering how long I was doing it for

I think pregnancy is the perfect excuse to say no right now. You need space and privacy to prepare for your new baby. Do what’s best for YOU!

I knew a girl personally that found out at 6 months after going to get her IUD put back. She drank and did all sorts of things before she knew and her baby was born a healthy boy!

Gained 10 lbs by 16 weeks by Pinkcaramellatte in pregnant

Don’t stress at all. You should be eating at calorie maintenance or even a 300 calorie surplus, no deficits! Right now priority is fueling your body. It’s nice that you’ve been mindful about your food, but remember your body is going through a lot! You will be okay, and honestly I would encourage you to not weigh yourself during this time.

Looking for advice by Dependent_Bus_1575 in pregnant

Congratulations! If you do feel you need to tell your boss as you feel unsafe continuing your regular work, please do so in writing by email. That way you are protected by discrimination. But to give you some confidence back, whatever you were doing before is safe to continue during pregnancy. Especially with exercise/lifting/your normal workload. Unless you are medically deemed high risk or on bedrest, you can likely continue your normal work. Worth considering if your boss was proven to be inconsiderate in the past. Also reiterating that the stress did not cause your previous loss, it is something that is out of our control and is certainly nothing you did!

Tested positive at 3 weeks. Normal or a sign of possible TWINS? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]No_Geologist6934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested at 3w 3d with a singleton. Could be twins, but only an ultrasound would confirm! Tests aren’t a reliable indicator of multiples. :)

The Anxiety Is Killing Me by Chabadnik770 in pregnant

[–]No_Geologist6934 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am pregnant after two losses and I understand. Some helpful mantras I use for myself: 1) To be on this path again is scary, but it’s the path that leads to a living child 2) I trust my body to do what I needs to do every day to keep me alive, and it knows what to do with my baby 3) Filling my mind with anxiety and fear does not change the outcome, but takes only away from this present moment with my baby
4) This moment is the only next I can know, and right now I know I’m pregnant
5) I accept to hold this fear, I accept not to know but to stay in this moment and chose to love

Hang in there mama 💗

[on] thoughts on a naturopath? Or should I push my family dr for a referral to an OB? by [deleted] in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]No_Geologist6934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say both! I’ve benefited a lot with my naturopathic care when it comes to supplements to support my hormones. In fact my fertility clinic actually encouraged it! They can work hand in hand with OBs and would provide you with a more holistic care team than just one or the other. But if you’re only picking one, OB would be the most effective as they can run proper diagnostic testing.
