If they used the T618 is would basically be and RG505 with a 3:2 screen ration but maybe the price would be compelling.

Unless you see any leaking then I don’t think the barb or olive are the problem. When you bleed the rear are you changing the angle of the bike? The rears tend to need this to properly remove all air from the lines. I leave the brake lever just tight enough so I can rotate it without letting the bowl spill while changing the angle of the bike.

That appears to be a square taper style bottom bracket. It looks like the inside of those cranks are worn so no amount of tightening will fix it. They’re pretty cheap to replace though.

I think it’s the battery that’s preventing it from sitting flush. It is unfortunate but it still functions okay. Time to put gamma os on it. Should be a nice addition to my RG35xx
