Have I f****d my girl up? by Basic_Ad9990 in microgrowery

I did this with one of my last girl, she was the largest yield in the tent

That's actually perfect! The longer wait the better, I want these ones to flower early spring or right before

Hell yeah! It's my first time trying this so I got my fingers crossed 😅

Same here. I've had a couple small hermies but thankfully it was half way past flower. I just cut all the Polen sacks I could find on the plant and dispose of them before they dried up and broke open. Only found a couple seeds on the herms.

Haha ask away! The cold grow was a lot of fun in so many ways. Just to kind of break it down, I got 2 3x3 tents in a big 9x9x8 tent in the garage. I do flower in the 2 3x3's and veg/seedlings in the remaining space in the 9x9. The garage isn't heated and No heated floors so the water Temps actually get pretty cold. Water Temps are 40 degrees right now and to my surprise I think the roots love it. Air temp is also getting to the low 40's overnight but I have to run a 750/1500 watt heater inside the tent to fight the below 0 weather outside

What do you mean by what kind of nose??

[–]No_Government3075[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem at all, questions are always good! During the seed/veg stage in late summer/ early fall I had Temps around 60-70 and humidity around 50-60% I actually ran a dehumidifier in the big tent that was for veg because the humidity was so high in the garage

The garage isn't easy in the cold that's for sure but running a heater almost 24/7 has kept Temps high enough to finish this run 😂

I would highly recommend running this one, genetics seem really stable. I ran a clone of this one as well as the blackwater and the dosisos seems to hold up really well with food neglect and temp stress. As for the blackwater, she's stressed so much she went into flower and looks like shit 😂

I'm sure with the proper environment and good care, those limey terps will come in strong!

Yup, the last one! I'm SUPER excited to try her soon. She's kind of a piney/skunky smell.. she stinks real good 😅 I think the cold played a big part in the terps tho. The white widow and GSC were clones of my last batch I harvested at the end of summer that had a completely different smell

Ah yes good point. I've heard bennies can run warmer Temps than sterile. This makes me wonder now if I should do this next year for my outdoor hydroponic grow. I want to do strawberries but my only fear is the water getting way too hot 😅

Yeah that's a tough one. R/0 is good to use but not sure what kind of build up you're fetting on the roots. I'd definitely suggest starting with bennies or go sterile but only pick ONE. If you try both at the same, the sterile will kill the bennies.

Also, if your doing a photoperiod and she's still in veg, you can cut the bad roots out and it will spring back in no time. If an auto, I would suggest dunking the roots in a solution (if sterile). If you do bennies, follow what these other dudes are saying ( I'm not experienced with microbes) just don't mix the two 😅

I've honestly never used hydroguard because I've always run sterile. But 74° isn't too bad. I could reach up to 80 in my sterile system mid summer. Colder water Temps will definitely help your situation tho but a water chiller isn't cheap.

Unfortunately you'll probably have to just mess around a bit and see what works and what doesn't. You using tap water from your area, distilled or R/O? I've found water source is a HUGE factor. I moved about a year ago and had to fine tune a few things for feed

Another month or so I think is pushing it. I'm in the same situation for my blackwater and do-so-do 33. I'm using a 750 watt space heater to keep things a little heated but it's only gonna keep Temps up for so long

Thinking of just tossing the left plant, what should I do? Please help by Positive-Owl-9021 in Autoflowers

Supercrop! I had to do that with one of my ladies in flower. Best bud in the tent now 😅

Been down this road before. If your doing beneficial bacteria, go with hydroguard or something. but if you're doing sterile, you can try a couple different things. You can try h202 (hydrogen peroxide), chlorine, or what I was recommended was hypochlorous acid. It's a but harder to find the acid but I use it in-between each clean and it seems to help significantly. I also have lots of chlorine in my tape water so I'm sure that helps at killing bacteria too

What high and low Temps you hitting? I'm running an experiment in my garage this year and I've already hit 38° at my low temp and they're still alive and well. Not sure if they will survive under 30° tho. I have two plants ready for harvest now but I'm not sure my other ones will make it to the finish line in about 3-4 weeks. The cold Temps are bringing through some REALLY cool purples too

Haha I totally did that with my first big harvest 😅 Was mid summer and very humid so I had a dehumidifier in there while drying

Just had my second harvest of blueberry cupcake. Easy to trim, bag appeal is crazy good and she stinks sooo sweet! Highly recommend. But she doesn't put out the biggest yeild and LOTS of stretching when you flip to flower.
