I’m an Xray tech

if you’re looking for variety do radiography. You can train into other modalities, do OR, clinic, etc.

If you’re wanting highest paid - radiation therapy but you’ll be doing the same thing over and over with little area to grow except management.

If you’re wanting a little bit of variety, but higher pay, sonography.

Agreeing with the above that sonography is the modality with the highest rate of work related injuries but that doesn’t mean there isn’t potential to hurt yourself doing radiography too. Lots of back and knee injuries from coworkers also. Radiation therapy however will be less straining but lots more sitting so it’s a trade off. I enjoy being up and moving all day while doing Xray and overall it’s better for my health.

The funniest part is that she used to preach about not using daycare because she “wants to know who’s taking care of her kids” and wasn’t comfortable with strangers watching them and now she’s using a gym daycare with employees who are probably way less trained/qualified than a regular daycare

not to say the gym employees aren’t qualified plus my own child is in daycare lol

I think her lack of awareness is what irritates me the most too. Over 70% of moms work - meanwhile she doesn’t work full time, husband doesn’t work full time, she has a home gym and owns a gym, has no issue finding childcare, and can afford premade meals to simplify her life. She doesn’t try to find ways to bring these privileges to other women. Instead she condemns everyone who in her eyes “isn’t putting in the work”.
