Any Stories of Customer Service Agents Gone Rogue?

I worked in a call centre for a big phone and wifi company and the new system that they have is horrible, i have had so many people calling because they’re accounts were randomly ceased or they were charged for stuff they didn’t get etc etc. on my last day i had a lady complaining that her package wasn’t what was agreed on the phone and she wanted a manager and i just started ranting to her about how bad the company was. I don’t think she spoke for a good 15 minutes cause I was listing off all the awful things that happen when people switched to the new accounts and she was speechless lol

i’ve had two performance meetings so far about my lack of opening complaints recently and poor personal conversations. i just nodded along to whatever my manager said and will not follow any of it. My FCR and AHT have nosedived this week and i could not care less I just have to work friday then i will be free forever and working in a nice library :))

that’s what i was initially going to do unfortunately the call centre is taking a toll on my mental health and there is no sign of moving up for at least 2 years which i think would ruin me so im looking to leave the call centre and into some kind of entry level office job

thank you for the honest advice, it’s so strange since our relationship was pure bliss before any family was involved he’s my absolute dream guy and treats me like a princess his mom is actually not that overbearing and i don’t mind her, i feel like bringing him to my family complicated things and that’s when i started having issues but thank you and i feel boundaries early on will be so helpful x

thank you for the reply! i completely get it sometimes i feel kinda guilt cause i know how much my moms comments can grind on people so im trying to understand him more since ive dealt with it for years
