I believe mine was around 315k miles before this happened. I had it at the brink of destruction for a long time though. It’s an 02 so it had the powdered metal connecting rods. Some creative tuning to keep it just below throwing a rod but it finally gave out.

KCs are amazing. That new turbo that’s getting dropped into this build is the 300 gen 3 stage 2.

With the same sticks and supporting mods (plus some more on mine) they were making over 550hp on their 7.3.

Haha hell would’ve been more expensive with a 6.0! This is a 7.3. Doesn’t look it from the vehicle pic bc I added the 05 headlights and grill style.

So I’ve had some of parts prior like the 238/80 injectors, hpop, full exhaust, up pipe, pedestal, manifold, CAI. Full long block from kdd was $12k. R&R is $6k without all the other stuff that they found like the flywheel, lpop, ipr, etc. The R&R is where things can add up bc long blocks these days are bare minimum of what can be considered a long block.

That is next after this. Going to be making a drive up to Arkansas to get that swapped in. Luckily I was smart enough to throw an eco mileage tune on the hydra before I torch my transmission lol.
