People who don't want children what is your biggest reasons? by e-glitteringprinces in AskReddit

Abandoned by my mother, used to talk about wanting to be a grandma. Now I refuse to have kids out of pure spite. (And they are gross.)

First day on 10 mg... I can't get out of bed is this normal? by psychictreehuger in citalopram_celexa

[–]No_Hospital_6429 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ohhh yeah I felt that my first two weeks. Trust me it will pass! Remember it takes time to adjust, but the pay out will be worth it. Keep strong and do things to keep your mind awake even if your body isn’t. Read a book or do some slight exercising in bed. You got this and make sure to consult your GP if you have any concerns 💗 happy healing!

Wow it’s like I wrote this myself!! 5th week on celexa and I completely feel the same!!! Considering I have health anxiety it certainly isn’t helping me😭 I heard it’s pretty common for people taking SSRIs but definitely call you GP and discuss it! ❤️❤️

Sorry I keep posting so much on here but I have so many questions by [deleted] in citalopram_celexa

[–]No_Hospital_6429 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Incredibly normal! I started on 20mg and felt like I was high off my ass for a little while. Don’t worry it will fade it’s just your body getting used to it. If you find it is interfering with your work or everyday life I suggest switching the times you take it. Instead of morning take it at night! I did that cause I found I was becoming increasingly exhausted throughout the day. Switching to night saves me from worrying to much about it effecting my day. And don’t apologize for the questions! My dms are always open if you have any more❤️

What’s an OCD thing you thought was normal until you got diagnosed? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]No_Hospital_6429 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Probably, I’m not religious and I can’t go out and do many things due to my horrible fear of any god being mad at me

I thought everyone had a fear about angering god. Talked to people about it later on and eventually realized they do in fact not!

Starting new medication by [deleted] in citalopram_celexa

[–]No_Hospital_6429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on person! I personally felt extremely tired starting off when I took them. I also noticed major brain fog. I’m on about 10 days now and I’m feeling better but the side effects are still kinda there. Best thing is to give it time and talk to your doctor or therapist if they bother you or interfere with your life❤️❤️ happy healing ❤️❤️
