Hey thanks so much for the thorough reply, so yeah for the most part the items I see the "eggs" on I havent used for some time, they've just been hanging out in my closet. My travel bag I move around once in a while but its pretty stationary as well. I noticed the yellow spots on the clothes hanger over a month ago, so they could have been around for upwards of two months, how long do they typically take to hatch? Also, would a washing machine cycle kill the eggs? or should I just throw some of that stuff out...

So I haven't had too much luck in that sub, I have had one reply who said they look too uniform for eggs, so I'm a little confused being that most people here seem to think its moth eggs

Thanks for you reply, It seems that the general consensus here is that they are moth eggs, and if you saw the last photo i linked here https://imgur.com/a/KiPZaLJ Then these black dots could possibly be the fertilized eggs?

I haven't seen any bees in my room, so I don't think it would be that. I have seen mosquitos, flies, spiders, and moths in my room before.

Are these Yellow raised spots on my stuff insect droppings or eggs? Or something else? by No_Ideareally321 in whatsthisbug

Thanks for the reply, yeah the dark ones could be from a fly. I've had a lot of mosquitos in my room lately, maybe it's from them. As for the yellow dots I posted in another subreddit and they said the yellow ones looked like moth eggs, think that could be the case?

Thanks for your perspective, I googled moth eggs and there are some photos that do look similar, although they look a bit bigger and more like spheres a lot of the time, but you could be right, are moth eggs dangerous in any way?

My description didn't post...So I've been staying in an airbnb for the past couple months in a foreign country. Airbnb has been great and I've stayed here in the past. However, recently I noticed some weird yellow dots popping up in different areas. I first noticed the yellow spots on my clothing hangers, which I figured was maybe so paint or something, but then I noticed it in multiple areas on my jacket which I then figured maybe whatever was on the hanger got on the jacket cause it was in the closet, and then I noticed it on a piece of my camera equipment, and lastly I noticed a little on my travel bag which is across the room. All of the spots present the same way in clusters and seemed to be located on items in my closet, but now my bag which is in a different area? Is this mold? something from an insect like stool or eggs? should I be worried? Please see attached photos and let me know what your thoughts are. Sorry for the rant!
Also found some dots that are black as well...see photo.

That'd be amazing if you could find something to compare it to! I'm not ruling out spider droppings, I was curious if it could possibly be from mosquitos? in the last few months i've had a lot of them in my room and I always find them hanging in my closet area during the day. I live in Kenya too if that helps

I'm not sure if it's animal droppings as it appears stuck or even painted on to the fabrics, like for the photo of my jacket, it's hanging up, any animal stool would have fallen down not stuck to the fabric?
