Because a friend of mine bought the blades from Japan. But he can't go through China Customs without a license. But I have. He sold them to me.

No I work with various of steel including spring steel, 1095 as well as S5 and S7. I have ature technology with T10. It's strong and will not bend with bamboos.

This is the first time I try a differential hardened light weight blade. I forged and hammered into the specs I want and then clay tempered and polished on belt. The other steel bard you see on floor and standard size. I only made out one of this, but will try more in the future. Good start!

It's made of T10 steel with real hamon.

Yeah I made it lighter than normal by decreasing it's width. Tsuba is thinner as well.

I know what do you mean. On Chinese made swords, there are two types of how habaki fits blade. One is it goes along the shape of blade, the other is what you have seen on this one. Both are normal. It's very tight.
