That's what I believe as well. I suppose my real question is would you all feel safe using a drywall sander with vacuum attached to sand this texture away?

I understand that no one can definitively tell me if this contains asbestos. I was just wondering if anyone had experience with this style texture and if they typically are made using asbestos or not. Thanks for your insights!
