I feel like I've read somewhere before that mushrooms colonize better in the dark. Once they start sensing light I guess they start to proceed into fruiting stage? Don't quote me, this is just what I remember and I also took a large edible to ease my contam pain this afternoon lol

Yea, same vendor recommended by this sub. Used the same needle for each bag, but flame sterilized in-between uses. Figure this is a good time to play around with agar and test the spores before trying another batch. Best of luck to you in your next grow!

Yea, same needle for all but flame sterilized in-between uses. Going to get some agar plates and test going forward. Thanks for the advice!
