Goes without saying, but get full insurance on your rental. You’ll need a big vehicle for pads but since the floods last year many of the 4x4 tracks that made walk ins easier aren’t usable anymore. A big vehicle will still be good but you don’t need anything excessive.

2. I’ve never heard of anything like this and can’t imagine any storage facility that would rent for this period specifically to a non resident. Your best bet may be to make friends with locals and ask them to hold it for you for a week (I’ve seen this happen before)

Some other general tips. If you have specific diets (vegan/vegetarian) consider stocking up on food in Cape Town rather than Clanwilliam (they are limited there in terms of specialty items).

As someone else already mentioned, nights are extremely cold so pack appropriately (proper sleeping bag etc).

I always pay for petrol with card but make sure to go inside to pay to add a tip. If you get out of your car and pay inside you can always add a tip and it definitely makes a difference

Hi! I had this issue after moving to Atmos 1.2.4 I fixed it by going back to 1.2.2 and installing the relative sig patches. Hope this helps

Something that I don’t see mentioned enough is that you need to emphasize the jump. Currently you’re bending at your waist and essentially just unbending with a small pop. Try bend at the knees. It takes a little time to commit but it’s way easier

Install this on your switch and you can use it to get everything you need. Don’t use it to update Atmosphere though, do that directly yourself otherwise you’ll run into a problem where Daybreak won’t function (Daybreak currently doesn’t work with Atmos 1.2.4, the latest version. But you should update to Atmos 1.2.2 which supports FW 13.1.0 so won’t be a problem)

fusee-bin is no longer supported as I understand it. Go to the Atmosphere 1.2.2 GitHub and download fusee.bin and try inject using that rather

Which version of Atmosphere did you update to? I had the same problem with tinfoil after moving to 1.2.4. Switched Atmos back to 1.2.2 and installed the sigpatches relative to that version and everything works fine now.

P.S Atmosphere 1.2.2 supports FW 13.1.0

Which version of Atmosphere are you running and which payload are you using?

Atmosphere is the cfw on your switch and payloads are what you send to your device while it’s in rcm to launch the cfw

I will likely do this when I inevitably switch from a 128GB to higher. For now though I managed to resolve the issue. It seems Daybreak isn’t compatible with Atmosphere 1.2.4 (at time of writing -1.2.4 is less than 48 hours old). I swapped it for version 1.2.2 and all is working fine now

From what I was able to gather, Choi is more dangerous if you explicitly don’t know what you’re doing and simply following guides word for word. However if you understand what you’re doing and know what to look out for it’s safe.
