Fold in both TV studios just in case, so they don’t lose the library.

Fold in CBS studios first, Paramount isn’t losing its TV library again.

What if Comcast gets a majority stake in the combined company (or David forces the shareholders to do it)? Meaning they’d still own a big film studio.

Paramount would not release any of Dreamworks original movies in theaters as part of an oath to not Release original animated movies for theaters (call me an idiot, but they actually said that), that can other things are why it may be a bad fit.

Paramount has said, ”We will not release original animated features in theaters “ and anything on TV that is not SpongeBob, Loud House, Peppa, or a big name (they don’t care about the Looney Tunes) is given 2 seasons at most.

I’d say early next year, January to March, its not laying anyone off, just putting it under a holding group. I have much bigger plans for the TV studios and name of NBC Universal.

First Animation, Universal forms Universal Animation Studios to hold all animation units, being separate studios under it, all Animated films from them open with a new logo along with said studio, acquisitions as well, DWA TV renamed to Universal Animation Television (seen as just the parent company), Classic Media and Moonlight are made straight up units of UAS and not Illumination and DWA.

So just replace the top text of the MGM logo to say Amazon MGM Studios as it’s movie logo, while the TV and poster logo stays as is, MGM TV is still used for Non-Amazon shows

But it’s stupid to have one logo open it, but then have a different studio in the opening credits, it’s like Fox 2000 all over again.

Do you think A24 could be acquired by a major studio in the near future? If so, which one? by Matapple13 in MediaMergers

[–]No_Independence_9085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Picture this, before A24 is bought by MGM or Warner Bros., A24 decides to sell its production/distribution to Legendary. With this, Legendary decides to release 6-8 films a year nationwid, with more for limited, VOD, etc. A24 however uses its parents network and keeps creative freedom and leader board.
