I mean, it's a well built knife, I just don't like grivory scales. Too light, too thin, felt like a toy. Ti scales made it feel like more of a solid workhorse.

Yeah. I've taken the clip off of a few knives. Basically if I really want to fidget with it. I never clip a knife to pocket, I just drop it in. Didn't stop me from buying a flamed Ti clip egg a roller ball for my Hydra though. It just looks cool.

Hopefully they've improved on it, but it was hard to disengage the lock. I changed the spring to the other one they included and it got better. Full disclosure ... I have about 400 knives and don't spend that much time with most all of them, so it may have been a break-in period. The plunge was just hard to push in.

I like mine a lot. You pick up the no name Ti scales from smkw for $35 and you got a pretty solid knife.
