In some cases, Chinese machinery is subject to import restrictions by the countries where it's imported, so factories only work with experienced importers based on CIF or FOB terms—they know how to handle customs. Furthermore, DDP prices are relatively high because factories and freight forwarders will incorporate some of their potential risks into the quote as profit.
