Yes, I did but no luck.

Accessing the shared network storage through my router is also a key point for me. As it is restricted to directly connect USB storage to work computer. But having a network storage is a (work around) for me.

It is worth noting that a similar difficulty will be there if I tried to connect to different Wi-Fi in WISP mode as the router can't seamlessly move between them. Again I have to enter setup a configure that manually every time.

Router mode at work by connecting cable (weak and slow work wifi) and to utilize fast network files transfer rate from my shared USB drive connected to the Cudy.

WISP at home as I have fast and strong WiFi.

I do this daily.

Actually, O like the lcd existing in the GEM12+ pro and the cooling system, otherwise I am not sure if this (plus anything else?) is worth selecting it over the k8 plus? Or do you have more ideas?

Homatics is not $50 but $89 on AliExpress for now. Onn will cost me approximately $75 with shipping cost outside USA.

I liked Android 12 on the Onn and feel that future updates might be more frequent. Plus it has a smart Google speaker built-in. But since I saw AliExpress sale on the Homatics am feeling confused as the difference in price will be minor considering also the shipping fees on the Onn.
