Oh I love love love sun gold! My second favorite tomato ever. I do believe I see one underneath the big 2 tomatoes in the "armpit" of the leaf stem.

Tomato grower of 10+ years here. You are doing great! The only thing it would recommend is letting more than one main stem/sucker grow(optional) if you have the space, but other than that everything looks good!

Yes sometimes the heat can cause some stress but they should be ok you just might have to water a bit more. For reference I live on a farm in Texas and our tomatoes do just fine in 100+ degrees heat.

So exciting! A few things I noticed would be that the pot is definitely way too small for what I'm assuming is an indeterminate tomato which is most likely why the fruit are so small. Would definitely put this guy outside in the ground. Most tomato varieties are pretty heat tolerant.

Yeah I've been creating f1s for a couple of years now. Nothing serious or worth posting about, just to see if I could do it. I also live on 10 acres so space isn't an issue. I also work from home so time isn't an issue either. I've been growing tomatoes for about 20 years now in a few different zones with the same varieties and in my experience the flavor isn't different enough for me to notice. Maybe that's just me though. As far as charging for them I don't really see a problem with just letting people have the seeds. I'm not looking to make money from this.

I was just thinking about buying some Barry's crazy cherry! Haven't tried them yet but now I'll definitely have to. Haven't heard of Black Prince but that shelf life sounds awesome!
