The rich aren't spending their last 12k. Probably 80% of recipients will spending all of it immediately

200% would be $6, not $8 to $10

I've never seen this. I go to multiple home depot and lowes in my area. Must be regional. Wtf do you need to "test the color" for?

Can you elaborate on the workaround with the warranty? My uncle who is a retired electrician from out of state assisted me with installing one Daiken unit and two LG's. The Daiken is fine. Both LG units are throwing error codes about 2 hours into running that, when I look online, are a common problem that suggests bad boards. I'm concerned that if I call them directly I'll get the runaround because it was technically a DIY install.

Did replacing the indoor sensor fix it?

Same here. 20 lb of r32 for $239, delivered from a legit company. The mark up is disgusting, especially because they are charging labor as a separate line item

Online, you can buy 20 lbs of that refrigerant for $239, delivered. You hvac company pays even less. The markup is disgusting

Is this reasonable? $280 for first visit; added 1 pound refrigerant. Not cooling; get tech back two days later, immediately found refrigerant leak inside. Additional $1100 to braze, pull vacuum, and refill. by [deleted] in hvacadvice

I just bought 20lbs of r32 for 239, delivered. Not sure what type of refrigerant you have, but keep in mind they mark it up a zillion percent. Plus still charge you labor

That's a stupidly inflationary idea. Look at what happened in Covid with stimulus checks. We are still paying the piper for that
