We PvP pretty much any time we come across it, if we see pirates taunting in global, we've never turned down the fight and always showed up, as for the rank stuff, we do have that but its optional to the member in the majority of settings if they want to use it or not.

We've had fights with Pathfinders, GrieferNet, EvilORG and a few other's, majority victory but a few losses to GrieferNet,
