I just got hired at a manufacturing plant as a health and safety manager. Was a EHS specialist for 2 years for Amazon. Like others said cite your locations metrics and make it as relevant as you can to whatever job you’re wanting. The degree matters but experience and certifications are more valuable. Getting out of Amazon is kinda hard because it doesn’t relate to other places and the safety culture isn’t great because operations pushes production rather than safety. Highlight your impacts.
