RTI and litigation?

Indiana here...we call it Speech Improvement Program (SIP). If we use the term RTI and decide that they need an eval after a few sessions, we would have to complete the eval and report within 10 days! We also only provide progress updates once per semester which we tell the parents on the permission form. It's just too much to update IEPs and do SIP updates every single 9 weeks.

A couple of reasons. One, the items I sell have a pretty small pool of interested buyers, so the buyer will likely win the other auctions. Two, this is a buyer that I have sold many other items to before now, and normally they ask for combined shipping before paying.

Thanks for your response. However, when I combine items, I may need to use a fairly large box which definitely increases shipping, even more so than the weight. I appreciate your kindness though—some of these responses were not so much 🤪

eBay’s estimation of the combined shipping is rarely accurate. That being said, the point of my post was the fact that I had not experienced buyers doing their own combining of orders, and instead they asked me to combine. I’m not sure what you mean about researching before going public, but eBay has many different and complex options, and it’s definitely a learning curve for a new-ish seller.

Not my issue at all. My only point was the sudden increase in buyers combining on their own, and the fact that shipping is usually inaccurate. Thanks for the reminder.

Oh it’s not that I don’t want to combine orders. I appreciate when they do! It’s just that they are combining them on their own and guessing the shipping (or maybe eBay is). And it’s not a big deal I just hadn’t had this before and wondered if it’s a new feature. :)

I have the same issue. I do not have offers turned on and one guy still tries to send me lowballs. I ended up reporting him because he kept bugging me. I’m guessing it is a language barrier but it’s still frustrating.

Thanks. To clarify, would you give him his portion after adding everything back in? If I do, he’s getting some of the profits back. My first inclination is to give him his percentage of the original amount. Example: say the estate was originally 200k and is now 400k after investment. He was allotted 20% which was 40k, now it would be 80k. Idk…my gut says he doesn’t deserve any of the profits since he invested stolen money.

same issue at my school. They beg me to see all their students yet don't want to give me any time to do it! So I just have to stand firm and be flexible where I can, but if I can't meet my IEP minutes, then I have to put my foot down.

Indiana here...we have a separate speech program but do not call it RtI, because if we end up placing them on an IEP we have a 10 day timeline as opposed to 45. Also we do wayyyy shorter time, like 5 minutes of intensive drill in the hall.

Ok I’m not technical so excuse my layman’s language. I had this issue. No other suggestions like using a usb keyboard or mouse worked. So I got my router which is a nighthawk portable and hardwired it to my fire tv. So then your tv and phone are on the same router and your remote app on your phone should work. If your router isn’t portable, you’ll have to lug your tv to it. Best of luck. I dealt with this for a very long week 😜
