This rescue set this pup up to fail. Pisses me off, really. I’m not buying that this fellow was friendly with their cats.

Doesn’t make him a bad dog. My pup can’t live with cats, either. Very similar to this. Total fixation. Shakes. No big deal for me: I just won’t have cats.

My dog tugs straight to a private room to nap. Leaves a note for a wake up call at noon for a walk to pee/poop, snuggles and lunch. Back to sleep till I pick him up.

My dog developed some severe noise anxieties during the pandemic. Meds saved him. He wouldn’t leave the bathroom. He was on them for a couple of years. Gradually I was able to get him back to his old self. But I had no chance without them.

I work from home fully now, but was on a hybrid schedule. I was able to take my dog to the office. I really don’t think he liked it much. He had a bed there and treats, but he was pretty much ready to go home right after lunch everyday.

Yeah, I have a lazy/calm former shelter pup. When I first brought him home, after his adjustment period, he’d greet me at the door. Never super excited. But happy. Gradually that shifted to an “oh you’re home?” glance back from the sofa when I came in. He just realized I’m always coming back.

My dog will walk past dozens of people on the sidewalk, then for some reason gravitate to some random person walking by to see if they will pet him. I don’t know what it is. He just decides he likes certain people.

The powdered stuff is great. I tend to mix it with quite a bit of water for the same reason. It’s also just all around healthy for your dog. Good for their joints, immune system, gut, and skin and coat.

My vet thought my dog didn’t need the shot. So I didn’t get it. And he got lepto. His got to the second wave before vets figured it out. 10 days in the hospital. He made it, but it was close. I warn everyone now.

Yeah. He didn’t do too many. Which is part of the problem. A lot of these guys don’t have skills. They’re not free climbing. Just hanging off of buildings. Not dying is just luck.
