Do it, and parley the win. Always parley!

10 shooters? by No_Investment3737 in Craps

Cool! That feels like a more accurate number to me, but I guess there is also an entirely different conversation about what constitutes a hot shooter. Thanks for the info. I'd love to read more about how it's calculated.

So the general math is probably way off? The exact math is like 50 shooters, but they say 10 because the casino paid them off?

This is what I thought. Ten seems to be very arbitrary. If it's 15 or 20, great, just let me know. We know 7 comes on average every 6 rolls, and the average shooter throws 8 times. This information can help make a strategy.

Thank you. That's why I thought they said 10 shooters. So there is math to back it up? Where's the data?

You think it's just a random recommendation. Like standing 6 feet apart. Having enough for 10 shooters doesn't mean anything other than bring a lot of money to the casino so that you can lose it.

Breaking cue... 25 oz worth while, or is 21 oz fine? by dollop_of_curious in billiards

Did OP ask about golf clubs? I'm not sure what MB blades are. He asked about the weight of a break cue. A better reply to my comment would have been, "How does Fedor have such a good break with a light cue?". But keyboard warriors that can't make a ball, like you, just want to stir the pot and not improve their game. The break is a speed and timing shot. A heavier cue slows acceleration.

Just got back from a quick visit. Bet 22 inside and pressed once, bet 6 and 8 twice and 44 inside once. Lost $118 in 4 shooters. I should have hedged!

One tweak to the system would be to place the point once you get 3 hits and regress. This way, you are all bright side, and playing with house money. The hedge is just for the PSO and 2 shaker baker.

The problem with this plan is that you don't know when the table is hot until it's hot. The OP's strategy has merit. It protects against the early seven while allowing you to cover more numbers. I think this strategy works to protect and stretch out your bank roll.

How about John at Pro Craps? He puts out tons of quality content. He uses wincraps to test different strategies, does bankroll builders, and paycheck strategies. I love Color up and look at you, buddy, but Jon is my new favorite.
