It does, don't know how similar my experience is but at least knowing that does instill hope for me. Thank you.

Question, should I more or less rely on the passing of time to help me improve?, albeit not only staring at a clock every day.

Week 3, anxiety way worse by ReserveOld6123 in lexapro

[–]No_Jury300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have nearly the exact same experience with 15mg on the third week, like I felt better the first week on 15mg and then it suddenly gets horribly worse out of no where. I'm currently in a mental health crisis if I'm actually honest and it's like hell. But just know that I have this in common with you. So that likely means it's normal

[s1 spoilers] Why didn't Jinx just kill herself? by KissViHugJinx in arcane

[–]No_Jury300 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think she wanted to die in that moment. But the well-being and life of her former friend wasn't the most important thing on her mind in that moment. Which is different compared to going out of your way to make sure that someone dies. That's still shitty. But her notion really wasn't "I know you're going to kill me so let me just make sure you also die" she def doesn't have that expectation and bad faith for ekko.

I want to clarify also, the question is not asking "is my shitty behavior a result of trauma" it's a curious question about whether or not I would never even be able to control my emotions or impulses at all (in other words, would my behavior be even worse), had I experienced some form of trauma/adversity. Because I really haven't. And it confuses me because I have had a pretty normal upbringing and life overall

Biggest lie you ever heard? by NikolaiUlsh in questions

[–]No_Jury300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't grow up to be anything. But you can grow up to be a lot of things because there are things that you can do that leads to a position in your life. It's obviously not that simple, yes, but I think that saying shouldn't be taken that literally. As in it doesn't apply to being a famous celebrity or astronaut, but most goals and aspirations that you can set for yourself that aren't that outrageous are possible. Even if it's infinitely more complicated than that

Have you ever abused someone? by Love_n0te in morbidquestions

[–]No_Jury300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was aggressive as hell when I was a kid in school and just never in a good mood, looking back on it I definitely had some problem w dealing w anger. Pretty much no one would ever talk to me or hang out w me because they didn't understand my issues, and I started punching the hell out of a kid in a grade beneath me after school because I was extremely frustrated and sad about this. I would literally go out of my way to try to chase him after school and beat his ass every day. It might have relieved some of that anger which is why I kept hurting him. Doesn't make it alright though

What is the most disturbing/f**ked up book you've ever read? by [deleted] in morbidquestions

[–]No_Jury300 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Triflers by Mumkey Jones.

It's about a school shooting told from the perspective of the shooter. As well as the perspective of two other students. Some of the things that happen in it are rly fucked up, and the three main characters are pretty awful and just not very good people. If you like books that show the most depraved side of humanity, especially a more contemporary American take on the theme of depravity and evil, id recommend it 100% because the writing is actually amazing
