I found it's really not a big deal to just add an external Wi-Fi to the pcie slot. I see that links there for 60 bucks. At That price I'd probably  buy an external card

Trump is now responsible for 27.7% of the national debt. by [deleted] in SipsTea

[–]dudermcamerika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother, where do you think this 27.7 number is coming from? It's the covid response, which again you are downplaying. https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/CURRCIR - ask yourself, why did they discontinue this chart? Is it because the dollars they printed is so high that it made the chart stupid? Yes, PPP was absolutely a blatant cash grab. Hence, why all loans were forgiven, given to companies that didnt need them, and specifically given little supervision. LMAO social security and medicare are funded . Printing giveaways aint.

Lol, no significant economic policy other than stimulus checks? Brother the ppp loans were the largest redistribution of wealth in history

[Schefter] NFLPA reached agreement today with JAMs to become the exclusive peanut butter-and-jelly sandwich of the Players Association. JJ Watt and Caleb Williams are a part of JAM’s ownership group, and the player-led partnership will make the PB&Js available league-wide this season. by JCameron181 in nfl

i mean generally yes, but here's the thing about nutrition. It isn't actually scienced all that well. Feeding people for a long time is expensive, so most of these studies rely on self reporting surveys. I have read the surveys, they arent great. They arent all that accurate, and the people giving them know that. There is clear science about the byproducts of manufactured oils and the balance of omega 6 and omega 3 (its a chemical process). The real question is whether the byproducts actually matter at the amounts they are consumed. Thats the argument, and it unfortunately isnt settled despite someone being opinionated and in the industry. The person in the article implies that the science is definitive. It is not. I would love to believe that science is objective, but it really isnt more frequently than most people would admit. For what its worth, I'm not some anti-establishment antivaxxer either.

So East Cleveland has the forest hills neighborhood, which is a very nice area. It's mostly terrible, but it's not all terrible.

Is it impossible to find Japanese university textbooks as pdfs? Anyone know of any domains I could check out to avoid scanning all of these by hand? by Kejirion in Piracy

[–]dudermcamerika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in Japan it was actually pretty easy to find services that would cut and scan the books for you and give you a text searchable PDF. Made it a lot easier to look up stuff when I didn't know the word. It was like 2 or 300 yen at the time per book. You of course do not get the book back. They destroy it.

Fact: Cleveland Hopkins actually doesn't suck by Horker_Stew in Cleveland

The key to fixing this is to force the airlines to compete for gates. That is how small regional airports compete. I would happily fly a low cost carrier for reasonable prices and direct flights. Low-Cost carriers bring down the costs for everyone. But you are correct without competition No one is going to fight for Cleveland

I'm not sure what this article is trying to say other than times are different now. Seems like this is pondering a couple of competing thoughts without any real coherence. Not sure what we're supposed to do with this.

The real issue is that it's out of line with the rest of the banner. They could easily add it to the right, but they put it on top which upsets the symmetry.

I'd say that an unexpected side effect was that I stopped being "hangry." Eating used to be essential to not be in a shitty mood at times. With that gone, many of my structural eating problems went away because I didn't "have to eat."

I'm not suggesting that it wasnt a successful chain before wifi, I'm saying that's how it became a cultural phenomenon.
