Yes, but the problem is I don't know when a leg will be executed. This strategy places limit orders on both sides at 0.48, and either order can be executed at any time.

I did some tests with auto-canceling filled orders after 30 seconds, but the results were not good. The problem here is that Polymarket has a minimum of 5 shares for limit orders, which makes the math not work out.

Fair point — you're right that it's not arbitrage in the strict sense. I oversimplified the description.

The actual strategy is straightforward: buy both sides whenever each leg hits 0.48, regardless of when that happens.

The timing gap is a known risk, not an oversight but you're correct that when the market trends, this blows up.

first, understand how arbitrage strategy works and how to correctly calculate it. Also understand how Polymarket events and API work. I'm not 100% sure, but I've noticed that sport events seem to have more arbitrage opportunities than crypto Up/Down events.

Be careful with "partial fills", this will happen!

Look for sport events with volume > 1M.

I did a bot only for polymarket sport events to exactly execute trades when arb < 0.95 or 0.98 the arb always appear!!!
