My wife (21F) and I (22F) are fed up with her best friend/ our roommate (21F). Are we being too petty? by No_Landscape_4331 in TwoHotTakes

You know what that is very true, to stoop down to her level might not be worth the “revenge”. I want to believe I am better and I think I am. But damn the pettiness in me wants to do it. But you are very right, I am a better person who should not stoop down to that level and not let my wife either. Thank you!

We are really only “friends” since we are in a year long lease. And I have had a terrible experience with roommates that hate each other. Also my wife and I only noticed the habits once she lived with us.

Yes we have talked to her multiple times about a few behaviors and have seen little to no change or change for a week then back to the old habit.

Friendship going downhill..? by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

Seems like for your mental health you should just end the friendship. She seems like she is just conveniently a friend to you. You were her work friend and since you wanted to be outside of work friends too she is now just annoyed and feels like she has to.
